HASAN YILMAZ
Retired Police Chief
He was born in 1963 in Karkamış district of Gaziantep. He completed primary education here and high school in Gaziantep. He graduated from the Police Academy in 1988. He is married and has two sons named Muhammed Burak and Eşref Barış.
During his 30-year tenure, he served at the General Directorate of Security, Kayseri, Malatya, Balıkesir and Şanlıurfa Police Departments. He also served as Malatya Doğanşehir District Police Chief and lastly served as Yozgat Police Chief.
He held one-on-one meetings with approximately 12,000 young people who had been involved in crime or were at risk and their families, and visited their homes. Through these interviews, he tried to understand the paths and grounds of young people leading to crime. He shared the knowledge he acquired through training with students, parents, teachers, imams, police officers and prison inmates. In the last ten years, he was assigned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to provide substance abuse and family communication training to our citizens and their children living in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
He received Education Management Development Training, Training of Trainers, Educational Formation, Drama, Body Language, Speed Reading, Leadership, EFQM, Excellence Model and NLP Master's training.
He served as a project manager within the scope of vocational training, skill acquisition and rehabilitation activities for young people who have been involved in crime or are at risk.
He has previously published four books named "THERE IS NO GUILTY CHILD, THERE ARE CHILDREN PUSHED INTO CRIME", "WHAT IS HAPPENING TO US", "EXAMPLE HUMAN EXAMPLE FAMILY" and "THE HAND THAT GIVES ROSES SMELLS ROSES".
