Common faith is the first cornerstone of Islam. It means believing in everything that was communicated to the Messenger of Allah through revelation and conveyed by him.
Comprehensive faith involves knowing and believing expressly and comprehensively each of the essentials received by our blessed Prophet in the light of all evidence. It refers to knowing and affirming the six pillars of faith, the worships that are obligatory on every believer (such as the prescribed prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and annual alms). As a Muslim you know and recognize what is permitted and forbidden and you apply this in your daily life.
In this book, stories from our rich Islamic history have been chosen to provide more clarity on certain matters of faith where necessary. You can read why it is good to read the Koran, get an explanation about the wisdom behind all worship and how the prescribed prayer (in all its forms) is structured. There is also extensive attention to the service of our Prophet and you will learn why we are asked to love him more than all the other people around us.
